The guides on Tech WebTools are general information for everyday tech problems. They are written to help you fix common issues on your phone or computer, such as a slow device, low storage, or a link you are not sure about. They are not professional IT advice, and they are not a replacement for official support from your phone maker, your computer maker, or a qualified repair professional.
Follow the steps at your own risk
You follow our guides at your own risk. Before you change a setting, delete a file, uninstall an app, or reset a device, back up your important data first. Photos, contacts, documents, and messages can be hard or impossible to recover once they are deleted. Check that your backup worked before you delete the original files.
If a step in a guide does not match what you see on your screen, stop and do not guess. Phone makers and software makers change menus and names over time, and a step that was correct when a guide was written may look different on your device. In that case, check the official help pages for your device, or ask a local repair shop for help.
Results may vary
Our guides do not promise a fixed result for every device. A slow phone may improve after a cleanup, or it may still be slow because of old hardware, a weak battery, or a fault that needs a repair. A storage guide may free a lot of space, or only a little, depending on what is on your drive. We cannot promise that a guide will fix your problem, and we cannot promise that it will work the same way on every model.
When to ask for professional help
Please ask for professional help if your device will not start, if you have lost important data, if your device is damaged, or if your work depends on a computer that is not working. The same applies if a guide asks you to do something you do not understand, or if you are asked for a password, a payment, or personal details by a site you do not trust. Do not share passwords, bank details, or identification numbers with anyone because of a guide on this site.
Links to other sites
Our guides may link to official pages from other companies so you can check a setting or download an app from the right place. We do not control those sites, and we are not responsible for their content, their products, or what happens when you use them. When you leave Tech WebTools, the rules and policies of the other site apply.
Advertising and accuracy
Tech WebTools may show advertising in future to support the cost of running the blog. Ads do not mean that we endorse the product or service in an ad. We check our guides when readers report a problem, but we cannot promise that every guide is free of errors or up to date at all times. If you spot a mistake, please tell us through the contact page so we can fix it.
